How to Pack & Secure Your Loved One’s Ashes for Shipping

Hi, and welcome to our step-by-step guide on how to properly pack and secure your precious cargo for shipping.

If you're watching this video, you have received your shipping materials. Your package should include:

• 1 scoop

• 2 small Ziploc bags

• 1 small plastic jar with lid

• 1 small bubble wrap envelope

• 1 shipping box

• 1 shipping label

Follow These Steps:

1. Gather Your Materials
Identify all of the shipping materials listed above and place them on a clean, clear surface.

2. Retrieve the Ashes
Use the provided scoop to carefully retrieve a small amount of your loved one's ashes. Fill the scoop to the top.

3. Place the Ashes in the First Ziploc Bag
Empty the contents of the scoop into one of the small Ziploc bags. Seal the bag tightly and securely.

​

4. Place the Sealed Bag in the Second Ziploc Bag
Place the first sealed Ziploc bag inside the second Ziploc bag and seal it tightly.

5. Place the Ziploc Bags in the Plastic Jar
Place the sealed bags inside the small plastic jar. Secure the lid tightly to ensure it is properly closed.

6. Protect the Jar
Place the plastic jar inside the small bubble wrap envelope to provide additional protection during shipping.

​

7. Place the Envelope Inside the Shipping Box
Place the bubble wrap envelope inside the provided shipping box.

​

8. Secure the Shipping Box
Close and secure all flaps of the shipping box, making sure the box is properly sealed before shipping.

9. Attach the Shipping Label
Place the enclosed shipping label securely on the outside of the box. Allow the label to partially cover the box opening while making sure the shipping barcode remains fully visible and accessible.

10. Drop Off Your Package
Take your securely packaged box to your nearest UPS or United States Postal Service (USPS) facility for shipping.

11. Rest Easy
Take comfort in knowing that your loved one's precious memory will soon become a beautiful work of art.
